Gaming industry is seeing a rapid growth in recent years.
Growth in smartphones and internet available at cheaper rates have supported
growth of online gaming in India. Seeing scope of online gaming in India, Apple
has made entry into online gaming space with low subscription plan of Rs 99 per
month. Apple is making a deeper move into gaming market with Arcade, companies
first premium game service.
Apple’s arcade has gone live in more than 150 countries.
Feature will be available on iphones, ipads, apple tv and mac devices. Apple
has promised to offer 100 games through this feature for users but currently
only 54 titles are available. Company may add more titles to the arcade so that
players can take full advantage of it. Apple already announced that they will
be adding more new games to the arcade each month.
In India Arcade’s first month trial is free. You can go to
Appstore and subscribe for the feature. Subscription cost for the feature is
cheaper just Rs 99 per month. Best part is can be shared with family with no
extra charge. So, more people of the family can have access to all the games at
same price. Also, Apple’s arcade will have no disturbing ads in between. All
the games available would be in app purchase free. That means you don’t have to
worry about spending extra money on playing available games other then paying
for monthly subscription.
