Air Chief Marshal, Mr BS Dhanoa launched a combat game called
Indian Air Force: A Cut Above. The game showcase life of Indian Air Force pilot.
Game is available in single player mode now and is soon expected to release in
multiplayer mode by Oct 2019.
You play character alike Commander Abhinandan Varthaman of
India who was captured by Pakistan and then later released in 2019 during India
Pakistan standoff. He was captured after his aircraft shot down in aerial dogfight
and kept for 60 hours in Pakistan.
Indian Air Force: A Cut Above is official game launched by
IAF and it is available on both Google Play Store and App Store. Game has Single
player features and Multiplayer features. In Single player, you will be taught to
handle high performance aircraft through tutorial mission in the game. Once you
complete the tutorial mission you will earn your wings.
Game has 10 engaging and high-performance missions which
will give you experience of Indian Air Force. It will be based on response,
reach, decision, precision, flexibility and support. You also have to assist
other civil authorities whenever required.
You will learn about several weapons, used in the Indian Air
Force and also learn different strategies used in the IAF.
Multiplayer feature will allow you to engage with other players
on internet. You have 2 modes here “squad vs squad” where you team up and play
the game and “free for all” where you fight till you are the last person
standing in the game. Multiplayer is not released now, and it is expected to be
released in October 2019. Single player mode is being released on 31st
July 2019.
Indian Air Force: A Cut Above is wonderful game which makes
you feel controlling high performance supersonic flying machines. You also get
better understanding of Indian Air Force by playing this game.
Game has excellent challenging missions and very good
graphics. So far, it has amazing gameplay and is loved by players. This is not
IAF’s first game they have launched a game called “Guardians of Skies” in 2014
which was again fighting simulation game like this game. Since both the games
are developed by Threye: Military Games, it has some similarities and some
differences. Missions are new, graphics are improved in the game, jets, helicopters,
game design and interface are updated in new game - Indian Air Force: A Cut
Above. Users can calibrate and change the graphics and sensitivity in the
settings in the new game as per their requirement. However, if you see both the
games you will find similarity in the concept of both the games.
